Marco Verratti has warned Chelsea that Paris Saint-Germain will take the game to them in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.
The two sides meet at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening, with the tie evenly poised following a 1-1 draw in the French capital three weeks ago.
Verratti believes that PSG cannot afford to sit back against Jose Mourinho's side.
"We don't have any choice but to take the game to them," he told The Express.
"Last year we went there to defend and hoped that the game would be over as soon as possible and that is maybe what hurt us."
Chelsea knocked PSG out of last season's competition in the quarter-finals on away goals.
