David Luiz has insisted that the entire Chelsea squad are motivated to win the Europa League this season.
The Blues won the Champions League for the first time in their history last year, but failed to defend their title when they exited the competition at the group stage in December.
Having finished third, they were automatically placed in the knockout stages of the Europa League. Following a victory over Sparta Prague, Chelsea now face Romanian side Steaua Bucharesti for a place in the quarter-finals.
Despite the fact that it is not the competition that his side had set out to win, Brazilian defender Luiz has revealed that there is a "hunger" among the squad to be successful.
"We need to be focused from the first minute until the last minute, it will be a tough game," the 25-year-old told reporters. "It's a great opportunity to win another European title, I have the hunger and the team have the hunger.
"Big clubs need to win titles and big games, all the players play together and we have a great family at Chelsea."
The first leg between Steaua and Chelsea will take place at the National Arena tomorrow night.
