Brazilian international David Luiz has declared that it is a pleasure to play with Frank Lampard at Chelsea following a memorable day for the veteran at Aston Villa.
Lampard's brace at Villa Park helped Chelsea come from behind to win 2-1 and secure Champions League qualification, and also allowed the England international to set a personal landmark.
The 34-year-old passed Bobby Tambling to become the club's all-time record goalscorer with 203 strikes in his Blues career.
Luiz believes that Lampard's achievement deserves recognition and is delighted to share the pitch with a player he used to control on his Playstation as a teenager.
He told The Mirror: "I have played with many, many fantastic players in my life. But he is the hero at Chelsea.
"It's a fantastic story. He has scored the most for Chelsea. It is great for him. Football gives me an opportunity to play with these players. "
"I played with them only on the Playstation when I was young."
Chelsea are back in action on Wednesday as they chase silverware in Amsterdam, taking on Portuguese giants Benfica in the Europa League final.
