Chelsea will be aiming to make it three straight wins in all competitions when they head to Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues beat Brighton & Hove Albion in the EFL Cup last week before recording a much-needed 2-0 victory over West London rivals Fulham in the league on Monday night.

Mauricio Pochettino's side have made an underwhelming start to their Premier League campaign, with a total of eight points from seven matches leaving them down in 11th position in the table.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Burnley, who are 18th in the division on just four points from seven matches.

Ben Chilwell

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Chilwell is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a hamstring problem, and it is unlikely that he will be available for selection again until December.

Reece James

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Chelsea captain James remains on the sidelines with a hamstring issue, but he has also been ruled out of this match due to a suspension.

Christopher Nkunku

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Summer signing Nkunku is on course to return at the end of the year, with the Frenchman being forced to undergo an operation on a knee injury towards the start of August.

Benoit Badiashile

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: October 7 (vs. Burnley)

Badiashile is in the latter stages of his recovery from a hamstring problem, and there is a chance that the centre-back could be available for selection in this match.

Wesley Fofana

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Central defender Fofana faces a big battle to return before the end of the campaign, with the Frenchman undergoing an ACL operation in the middle of July.

Trevoh Chalobah

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: October 7 (vs. Burnley)

Chalobah is yet to feature this season due to a thigh problem, but the centre-back has a chance of being named in the squad for the contest with Burnley.

Carney Chukwuemeka

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: October 7 (vs. Burnley)

Chukwuemeka is again a major doubt due to a knee injury, but he is in the latter stages of his recovery and could potentially feature in the squad.

Romeo Lavia

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Lavia is yet to make his debut for Chelsea due to a lack of fitness and ankle problem, and the midfielder will again be unavailable for selection this weekend.

Marcus Bettinelli

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: Unknown

Bettinelli is yet to feature this season due to an unspecified injury, and it is unclear when the experienced goalkeeper might be available for selection once again.

Mykhaylo Mudryk

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: October 7 (vs. Burnley)

Mudryk was substituted at the interval of the clash with Fulham due to a thigh problem, but he is yet to be ruled out of the game with Vincent Kompany's side.

CHELSEA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Malo Gusto

Return date: October 21 (vs. Arsenal)

Gusto will again be unavailable for selection this weekend due to suspension, but he will be able to be included against Arsenal after the international break.

Reece James

Status: Out
Possible return date: October 21 (vs. Arsenal)

James, who is currently injured, will serve a one-game suspension this weekend after admitting a Football Association charge of using "abusive language and behaviour" towards a match referee following the 1-0 loss to Aston Villa last month.
