Sunderland have recorded a 2-1 win over Chelsea to progress through to the semi-finals of the Capital One Cup.
Chelsea were two minutes away from securing their place in the last four after Frank Lampard had given them a deserved lead, but Fabio Borini equalised with two minutes remaining to take the game into extra time.
Both sides pushed for a winner during the extra period, but it was Sunderland's Ki Sung-Yueng who fired home from 10 yards to earn the Black Cats a place in the semi-finals.
Here, Sports Mole analyses the game to see if Sunderland were deserving of their triumph at the Stadium of Light.

Was the result fair?
After an enthralling 120 minutes, whoever exited the competition would have had reason to feel aggrieved. Chelsea dominated the majority of normal time and should have put the game to bed by the time Sunderland equalised. However, the Black Cats were the better of the two teams in extra time, and their late surge earned them the victory.
Sunderland's performance
The Black Cats struggled to get going during a lethargic opening 80 minutes, but they were unfortunate not to win the game by the time the full-time whistle was blown. They were much improved in the 30 extra minutes, and head coach Gus Poyet will insist that his team deserve to take their place in the last four after continuing to fight when they were up against it in the second half of normal time.
Chelsea's performance
While Chelsea played well in general, manager Jose Mourinho will be furious that his side didn't put the game out of sight when they were on top at the start of the second half. Samuel Eto'o missed a clear opportunity, while Frank Lampard sent a couple of efforts over, and the Blues were made to pay. The Stamford Bridge outfit had their moments in extra time, but they couldn't withstand Sunderland's growing momentum as the time ticked closer to the end of the game.
Sports Mole's man of the match
Emanuele Giaccherini Like many of his teammates, Emanuele Giaccherini rarely featured in the first half, but after the opening 45 minutes, he was Sunderland's only frequent threat on Chelsea's goal, and his creativity constantly had the Blues worried during the closing stages of normal time and the 30 minutes of extra time. He didn't help himself to a goal, but Poyet will be delighted with the Italian's contribution.
Biggest gaffe
Despite impressing with his general build-up play, Samuel Eto'o must receive this award for his missed chance in the second half. It was far from a sitter, but it was an opportunity that such an established player should be putting away. Had he scored, Chelsea would have won this game.
Referee performance
Anthony Taylor put in a really strong performance at the Stadium of Light. He was assisted by technology for the awarding of Chelsea's goal, but despite that, he didn't make any wrong decisions and he allowed the game to flow at an excellent pace.
What next?
Sunderland: Sunderland have no time to rest on this performance. They face a huge game with Norwich City at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, before travelling to Everton on Boxing Day.
Chelsea: Chelsea have a mammoth encounter with Arsenal next Monday, before successive home matches with Swansea City and Liverpool complete their run of games for 2013.
