Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly held discussions with manager Andre Villas-Boas regarding the current state of the Blues.
The former Premier League champions have not managed to claim a win from their last three fixtures in the league.
Reports have claimed that the Russian billionaire took a surprise trip to Chelsea's training ground on Saturday alongside adviser Eugene Shvidler and director Eugene Tenenbaum to watch the Blues' training session ahead of their match with Manchester United.
It is believed that Abramovich held important talks with Villas-Boas, who tried to convince the businessman that he is the right man for the job at Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Mail.
Following the meeting, the Blues went on to draw 3-3 with United, despite leading the English champions 3-0 in the early stages of the second half.
Chelsea remain in fourth place but face competition from Newcastle United, Arsenal and Liverpool, who linger beneath the London club in the table.
