Chelsea have reportedly decided to include Zinedine Zidane on the club's shortlist to replace head coach Antonio Conte.
On Thursday, Zidane announced that he was stepping down from his position as manager of Real Madrid after guiding the Spanish giants to a third successive Champions League trophy.
Zidane may opt to bide his time before taking on his next role but according to The Sun, Chelsea will ask the Frenchman about his interest in taking over from Conte.
While Conte still has a year remaining on his deal, the Italian is expected to leave Stamford Bridge in the coming days, with Maurizio Sarri and Laurent Blanc both being linked with the position in West London.
As it stands, an 'informal' approach has been suggested but Chelsea would likely move fast if there was a genuine possibility of attracting the 45-year-old to the Premier League.
