Chelsea lineup vs. Bournemouth: Predicted XI for Premier League showdown

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Chelsea could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

A first-ever Chelsea appearance could come the way of Jadon Sancho when the Blues take on Bournemouth in Saturday night's Premier League battle at the Vitality Stadium.

The Manchester United loanee was introduced to the crowd in the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace two weekends ago, but he was ineligible to make his debut on that day due to his last-minute deadline day arrival.

However, Sancho should form part of the travelling party for the weekend's fixture, where Chelsea could be without no fewer than four thigh injury victims in Romeo Lavia, Reece James, Omari Kellyman and Malo Gusto.

On a brighter note, Cole Palmer is likely to be available, despite pulling out of the England squad with a muscular issue; the playmaker has since been pictured in training.

Palmer should therefore act as the creative focal point in a frontline also boasting Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke, but Enzo Maresca may make an alteration on the left and swap Pedro Neto out for Joao Felix, as Sancho waits his turn on the bench.

Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo form the recognisable South American pairing in the middle of the field, but Maresca could be forced to field Axel Disasi at right-back.

The rest of the backline should remain untouched, as Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill and Marc Cucurella protect Robert Sanchez in between the posts.

Chelsea possible starting lineup:
Sanchez; Disasi, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella; Fernandez, Caicedo; Madueke, Palmer, Felix; Jackson
