Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri will reportedly push for a prompt decision from the club regarding his future beyond this season.
The 60-year-old arrived at Stamford Bridge last summer on a three-year deal and has guided the Blues to a third-placed finish in the Premier League in his first full campaign.
Sarri could also lift the Europa League later this month, with domestic rivals Arsenal providing the competition in Baku on May 29, but that has not stopped speculation mounting that he may be on his way out after less than 12 months at the helm.
According to The Times, the ex-Napoli boss wants to know whether he will be staying on for another year in order to give his coaching staff some clarity.
Eleven members of Chelsea's backroom team are out of contract and none of them has been given the chance to sign extensions.
The report indicates that Sarri met with owner Roman Abramovich in the United States earlier this week, but his future was not addressed.
