Caoimhin Kelleher and Ibrahima Konate have both been named in the starting lineup for Liverpool's Premier League clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The Reds revealed earlier on Sunday that Alisson Becker, Roberto Firmino and Joel Matip were the three latest players to test positive for COVID-19.

With Alisson and Firmino - two staples of the side - out of the backline, Kelleher and Konate are given the nods, while Kostas Tsimikas continues to deputise for the suspended Andy Robertson.

Thiago Alcantara was ruled out of the contest due to a minor muscle problem, so James Milner is selected ahead of Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the engine room.

Diogo Jota earns an expected start up front with Firmino sidelined, as Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane play their final game for Liverpool before jetting off to the Africa Cup of Nations.

Liverpool starting lineup: Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Milner, Fabinho, Henderson; Salah, Jota, Mane body check tags ::
