Mykhaylo Mudryk has been recalled to the Chelsea XI for Saturday's Premier League game with Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.
Despite impressing versus Leicester City in March, Mudryk remained as an unused substitute for the 2-2 draw with Everton before the international break.
However, the January arrival is handed a chance to impress versus Villa in what is one of three changes made by Graham Potter.
The Blues head coach has seemingly switched to a back four, starting with Marc Cucurella alongside Kalidou Koulibaly instead of Benoit Badiashile.
Wesley Fofana also drops out due to a hamstring injury, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek being brought into the centre of midfield.
N'Golo Kante is expected to receive his first competitive minutes since August, but they will come from the substitutes' bench.
Mason Mount is another player to return after an absence and he, too, will hope to feature at some stage having not played throughout last month.
