Barcelona are reportedly keeping track of Chelsea striker Fernando Torres.
The Spain international's future at Stamford Bridge had appeared to be secure following manager Jose Mourinho's comments that he wants to get the best out of the former Liverpool frontman.
Despite Mourinho's public confidence in the forward, it is believed that Barca could be open to giving Torres a lifeline in La Liga.
Spanish football expert Graham Hunter told talkSPORT: "The technical people at the Nou Camp are saying there is a chance to get a rejuvenated Fernando Torres. That is something to keep an eye on in the next couple of weeks."
Torres moved to Stamford Bridge from Anfield in 2011 for £50m.
