Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has said that the Spanish outfit have received no offers from Chelsea for Diego Costa.
The Brazilian-born Spanish international is widely regarded as one of the best forwards in Europe, with his performances over the last 12 months drawing a host of interest.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move, but Cerezo has claimed that the Premier League outfit have not submitted an official offer.
"It's not the time to talk about signings. There are three very important games ahead. Diego Costa was signed when he was 18, almost a child, and nobody guessed what he would be today," he told reporters at a press conference.
"Chelsea? We don't want to know when these games are so important. We don't want to destabilise the team and we can talk about this later.
"I can say that there is nothing, not officially, from another club to one of our players. They're not on their way to another team. If the question is 'is there a deal for Costa' then we haven't heard anything."
The 25-year-old has netted 36 times in 49 games this season.
