Chelsea have reportedly agreed terms with Juventus regarding a loan deal for Gonzalo Higuain.
The Blues have been in the market for a new forward since the start of the January transfer window, and Higuain has long been considered Maurizio Sarri's first-choice target with the pair having worked together at Napoli.
Higuain has spent the first half of the campaign on loan at AC Milan and has scored eight goals from 22 appearances, but it has been suggested that Milan are happy to part ways with the 31-year-old.
According to Sky in Italy, terms have now been agreed for Higuain to leave San Siro in order to spend the rest of the season at Stamford Bridge.
The report suggests that the loan deal could be extended by a further 12 months should a number of clauses be activated over the coming months.
The arrival of Higuain will likely lead to Alvaro Morata being able to secure a similar deal elsewhere.
