Dele Alli has once again been left out of Tottenham Hotspur's squad for this evening's EFL Cup fourth round clash with Chelsea, according to a report.
The England international was hauled off at half time of their opening Premier League game against Everton and has not been included in the matchday squad for either of their two league games since.
Alli did start against Shkendija in the Europa League last week, but The Telegraph reports that he will again not be involved in any capacity for the London derby with Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this evening.
The news plunges the 24-year-old's future at the club into even more doubt, with manager Jose Mourinho having confirmed that he will make wholesale changes for his side's second game in three days - with another to come two days later.
Alli could yet be involved in Thursday's Europa League qualifier against Maccabi Haifa, although his absence against Chelsea increases speculation of a possible move away before Monday's transfer deadline.
French champions Paris Saint-Germain are thought to be interested in the midfielder, but have so far been put off by Tottenham's asking price.
