The brother and agent of Gonzalo Higuain has confirmed that his client will 'respect' his contract at Juventus this summer.
The 31-year-old spent last season out on loan, playing for Juve's domestic rivals AC Milan during the first half of the campaign before joining Chelsea in January.
Chelsea had the option to make that move permanent at the end of the 2018-19 season but chose against doing so, leaving Higuain to return to Turin.
The Argentine had been expected to leave the Italian champions this summer, but the appointment of Maurizio Sarri - Higuain's former boss at Napoli and Chelsea - appears to have handed the striker a lifeline at the club.
"The only Italian club Higuain will play for is Juventus," Higuain's brother Nicola tweeted.
"He has two years left on his contract and it will be respected. Good Sunday to everyone."
Higuain scored five goals in 18 appearances during his half-season at Chelsea, helping the club to a third-placed finish in the Premier League as well as the Europa League title.
