Callum Hudson-Odoi is reportedly close to signing a new contract with Chelsea.
The future of the prospect has been a topic for debate for the past 12 months, with his lack of game time under Maurizio Sarri leading to speculation regarding an exit for the 18-year-old.
However, as well as making a number of outings during the second half of last season, Hudson-Odoi has seen new boss Frank Lampard show faith in several of the club's academy graduates since his return to Stamford Bridge.
According to The Express, that has all contributed to the winger moving to the brink of committing his future to the Blues by penning a five-year deal.
With just a year left on his existing terms, Hudson-Odoi allegedly stands to earn in the region of £180,000 per week until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
The England international is nearing a return to action after sitting out a number of months with an Achilles injury.
