Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi is reportedly on the verge of signing a new contract following positive talks with boss Frank Lampard.
The England international appeared to be close to joining Bayern Munich at the turn of the year after the Bundesliga champions made three big-money bids, the largest in the region of £35m.
Hudson-Odoi is understood to have handed in a transfer request to force his way out of Stamford Bridge, having been left unhappy with his lack of playing time under Maurizio Sarri.
The arrival of Lampard as new head coach this week has persuaded the 18-year-old to commit his future to Chelsea, however, with Goal.com reporting that he is increasingly convinced his dreams can be realised in West London.
The publication claims that Hudson-Odoi's new contract will be worth around £100,000 a week.
