Jorginho will not be leaving Chelsea during this summer's transfer window, according to the midfielder's agent Joao Santos.

The 29-year-old was a key player for the Blues during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring eight times in 43 appearances in all competitions, while he has impressed for Italy at Euro 2020.

Santos recently suggested that the midfielder could be on the move after this summer's European Championship, with clubs making contact with him to discuss his client.

However, the former Hellas Verona youngster's agent has insisted that the Italian will stay at Stamford Bridge this summer.

"He's staying at Chelsea after the Euros. [Thomas] Tuchel trusts Jorginho and he'll be part of Chelsea team next season," Santos told TuttoMercatoWeb.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the Blues are keen to open contract talks with Jorginho, as the midfielder's current deal is due to expire in June 2023. body check tags ::
