Nathaniel Chalobah is reportedly considering leaving Chelsea this summer after becoming frustrated with a lack of movement in terms of a new contract.
The 22-year-old, who helped England Under-21s reach the semi-finals of the Under-21 European Championships this summer, only has one year left on his deal at Stamford Bridge.
According to Goal.com, Chelsea are refusing to meet the Englishman's current contract demands, while the player himself wants assurances over first-team football during the 2017-18 campaign.
The report claims that Chalobah currently collects £5,000 a week, but wants to be handed a £55,000-a-week wage rise in order to put him on the same money as fellow fringe player Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Chalobah, who has been with Chelsea since the age of 11, made 15 first-team appearances last season, although he only started one game in the Premier League.
