Chelsea are deciding whether to offer forgotten defender Micah Richards a contract this summer, according to reports.
Richards is on loan at Italian side Fiorentina from boyhood club Manchester City, but is out of contract at the Etihad this summer.
The Guardian says that Fiorentina have already offered Richards a long-term deal, but Jose Mourinho is an admirer of the 26-year-old and has tried to sign him twice in the past while in his first spell at Chelsea and at Real Madrid.
Inter Milan are also said to be keen, where Richards could again work with former City boss Roberto Mancini, who believes the defender could comfortably fit into his 4-3-1-2 system.
The player could still stay at City, he is understood to have rejected two new contract offers from the Premier League champions.
Richards has played 13 times for England.
