Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly blocked Tiemoue Bakayoko's proposed move to AC Milan, with the Frenchman set to be given another chance to prove himself at Stamford Bridge.
The 26-year-old joined the Blues from Monaco in 2017 but has largely struggled to impress for the Premier League club, making just 43 appearances.
Bakayoko has had loan spells with Milan, Monaco and Napoli over the last three years, and it is believed that the San Siro giants are keen to re-sign him during this summer's transfer window.
The midfielder only has 12 months left to run on his contract at Stamford Bridge, but according to TuttoMercatoWeb, Tuchel wants to keep the France international at the club.
The report claims that the Chelsea manager is keen for Bakayoko to be involved in the team's pre-season preparations with a view to potentially being a regular for the club next term.
The former Rennes youngster scored twice and provided two assists in 44 appearances while on loan at Napoli during the 2020-21 campaign.
