Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced the permanent signing of young midfielder George Saville from Chelsea.
The 21-year-old moves to Molineux for an undisclosed fee, signing a three-year contract that has the option of a further year for Wolves.
Saville never made a senior appearance for Chelsea, but did feature 40 times on loan in League One for Brentford last season, helping the club to automatic promotion, alongside Wolves, to the Championship.
"He is capable of doing a little bit of everything; he can compete, he can tackle, he can pass and he has the ability to get a shot in," Wolves boss Kenny Jackett told the club website.
"At just turned 21, I think he's a great addition to our squad, I think he's the right age, he's a good player now but he's going to improve in the future and really give us terrific options in our midfield area."
Saville will be available to make his debut in Saturday's home match against Blackburn Rovers.
