Chelsea midfielder Oscar has said that he feels scared when he plays for Brazil and believes that there will be 'intense pressure' on the home nation when they kick off the World Cup in 2014.
The 22-year-old is expected to be included in the Selecao squad for the tournament next summer, but the midfielder has admitted that there is a 'fear factor' among the players.
"I do think about the World Cup, even now," he told The Times. "Every time I go back to playing for Brazil, even in just a friendly, it makes you think about it.
"It is a feeling sometimes of fear, but sometimes a positive fear. We can do what nobody else [in Brazil] has done. We can win the World Cup at home.
"But then sometimes I think that maybe we won't, and that is when the fear comes in: the fear of another Maracanazo. The pressure is not so bad now, but before the first group game, it will be intense."
Oscar has been included in the Brazil squad for their upcoming friendlies with Honduras and Chile.
