Chicago Fire won their fourth successive game on Saturday as they defeated Columbus Crew 2-1 at home.
The visitors broke the deadlock at Toyota Park in the 15th minute when Jairo Arrieta latched on to Sean Johnson's pass and slotted home from close range.
However, Fire restored parity on 23 minutes, as Chris Rolfe timed his run perfectly to receive Sherjill McDonald's through ball and shot past Andy Gruenebaum in the Crew goal.
Three minutes later Rolfe put the hosts ahead, chipping Gruenebaum from outside the Crew penalty box after collecting Patrick Nyarko's short pass.
Both sides created chances for the rest of the match, but failed to add to the scoreline.
The victory means that Fire are now second in the Eastern Conference.
