Edson Buddle scored a late winner to help Colorado Rapids secure a home win over Toronto FC in the MLS.
The hosts should have been ahead in the 11th minute when Kamani Hill crossed the ball for Nick LaBrocca, but he saw his effort well saved by Joe Bendik.
Toronto had an excellent chance of their own minutes later when Drew Moor was dispossessed allowing Robert Earnshaw to bear down on goal, but his shot was saved by Clint Irwin.
Earnshaw had another chance moments later when Ryan Richter crossed the ball into the middle and the former Cardiff City striker could only lift his effort over the bar from six yards.
After the break, the visitors were denied again by Irwin as he did well to punch Luis Silva's dipping effort over the bar, after the striker had bamboozled the hosts' defence with a mazy run.
Five minutes from time, the Rapids took the lead through Buddle as he capitalised on an error from Logan Emory, who miskicked in his own six-yard box, to power the ball past Bendik into the net to seal the win for his side.
