Luke Moore bagged an 84th-minute winner as Toronto beat Columbus Crew 3-2 in an entertaining encounter in Ohio this morning.
Toronto striker Gilberto struck first in the five-goal thriller by firing the visitors ahead on 43 minutes.
However, it was not enough to earn a the visitors half-time lead, as Federico Higuain, brother of Napoli striker Gonzalo, kept his cool to convert a 47th-minute penalty to level up the encounter.
The Canadian outfit hit the front once more just before the hour mark, as Jonathan Osorio pounced to give Ryan Nelsen's side the lead.
The pendulum swung the way of the hosts in timely fashion, however, as Justin Meram levelled up the clash for a second time on 81 minutes.
Gregg Berhalter's side failed to preserve parity yet again as former Swansea City forward Moore struck with six minutes remaining to provide Toronto with all three points.
