Steve Cotterill paid tribute to Bristol City's goalscoring prowess after they beat Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena to consolidate top spot in League One.
Strikes from Marlon Pack, Kieran Agard and Scott Wagstaff were enough to keep the Robins five points clear of Peterborough United, but Cotterill believes that his team stepped up in quality after a brief lull in the second half.
He told reporters: "We can score goals. That's seven out of eight where we've scored three in the game. We managed the game better in the first half than any other game. We had a 20-minute spell in the second half where we dropped off.
"Coventry are a good team and it was a young, running side today. In the end our quality won us the game."
The Robins could extend their lead at the top of the table if they beat Bradford City at Ashton Gate on Tuesday.
