Coventry and Preston both scored in injury time of the second half as they shared the spoils in a dramatic 4-4 draw this afternoon.
The visitors took the lead after just 10 minutes when Kevin Davies's flick on from a Lee Holmes corner found Tom Clarke, who smashed a volley past Joe Murphy.
Coventry levelled the sides 15 minutes later when Callum Wilson broke away down the right before squaring the ball to Leon Clarke, who swept it into the back of the net.
Clarke almost doubled his personal tally just after the half-hour mark, but his free kick came back off the crossbar and Wilson could only fire the rebound over.
Preston regained the lead through a fine curling half volley from Bailey Wright, but they were soon pegged back again as Wilson fired past Declan Rudd to level the scores once more.
Clarke then hit the crossbar for the second time in the match with a shot from the edge of the box before Wilson put the hosts in the lead for the first time, having beaten Paul Huntington for pace.
Their lead lasted less than five minutes, however, as Joel Byrom got on the end of Tom Clarke's cross to nod past Murphy.
The visitors must have thought they had won it when Chris Humphrey made it 4-3 in stoppage time, but more late drama was to come as Mathieu Manset netted with virtually the last kick of the match to rescue a point for Coventry.
