Coventry City striker Marcus Tudgay has agreed a new one-year deal at the Ricoh Arena.
The 33-year old made 27 appearances for the Sky Blues last season, scoring five goals, and will now remain with his current side until June 2017.
City boss Tony Mowbray told the official website: "I'm delighted to see Marcus Tudgay stay at the club for another season.
"Marcus was a player I highlighted at the back end of last season as someone who gives us some much-needed experience but also an intelligence and an awareness on the ball.
"He is a player who has a presence in the dressing room and is an important figure for some of the younger players at the club. He scored some important goals last season and I'm hoping for more of the same in the new campaign."
Tudgay played for Nottingham Forest prior to his move to Coventry in 2014.
