Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman has said that his side deserved their Carling Cup quarter-final win over Manchester United.
Glenn Murray's goal in extra time earned the Championship side a shock 2-1 victory at Old Trafford.
"It was a wonderful night for the football club, especially the position we've been in the last few years," Freedman told Sky Sports News. "To find ourselves playing at Old Trafford is a real privilege and the lads have learned a lot from tonight. So it's a real enjoyable night.
"We've got the win and I think we've deserved it. And I think we played some good football and showed a lot of desire to win that game.
"When you come to Old Trafford you really have to give it everything you've got and the lads have done that. We believe in each other and that takes you a long way at times. Everyone played ten out of ten and we got a result."
The Eagles will face fellow Championship side Cardiff City in the semi-finals for a place at Wembley.
