Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis has rejected rumours that the club are in the market for Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes.
The former Stoke City boss, who has taken over at Selhurst Park following the departure of Ian Holloway, is expected to bring in some new faces during the January transfer window.
However, any hopes of bringing Rhodes into the Premier League have been quashed after Pulis admitted that the Eagles do not have the funds to sign him.
"We'll get linked with every Tom, Dick and Harry from now until the end of the window, but the answer is no, we couldn't afford Jordan Rhodes," talkSPORT quotes Pulis as saying.
Palace are second from bottom in the league table on 13 points.
