Denmark have earned a 1-1 draw with Bulgaria in their World Cup qualifier in Copenhagen this evening.
Christian Eriksen and Andreas Cornelius had early chances for the hosts, while Veselin Minev put the ball wide for Bulgaria.
However, neither side was able to find the back of the net in the first half, despite attacking displays by both teams.
The visitors broke the deadlock shortly after the restart, as Stanislav Manolev blasted the ball into the back of the net.
However, Denmark had the chance to equalise 10 minutes later, when Iliya Milanov fouled Cornelius in the penalty box, forcing the referee to award a spot kick.
Daniel Agger took the penalty, striking the ball right to beat Nikolay Nihaylov in the Bulgaria goal.
The home side pushed hard to find a winner towards the end of the match, with Agger, Niki Zimling and Simon Kjaer among those with attempts at goal, but neither side could add to the score.
The result temporarily puts Bulgaria level on points with group B leaders Italy.
