A strike from Craig Bryson has given Derby County the lead at the break in their Championship game with Peterborough United at Pride Park.
The home side almost got off to the perfect start when Paul Coutts raided down the right and fired a cross towards the near post which somehow struck the woodwork, and the visitors cleared their lines.
Derby were seeing a lot of the ball in the early stages and Connor Sammon teed up Chris Martin, but the striker could only fire wide of the target with his left-footed shot.
Jeff Hendrick should have given his side the lead but he wasted two good opportunities before the break as he couldn't find a way past Robert Olejnik in the visitors' goal.
The hosts finally took the lead when Sammon raided down the left and squared the ball for Craig Bryson, who made no mistake firing in from close range.
