Derby County have cruised into a 3-0 half-time lead over Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium in the Championship this afternoon.
Steve McClaren watched on from the dugout as his side took a sixth-minute lead through Craig Bryson, whose 20-yard free kick proved too good for goalkeeper Lee Nicholls.
It soon got worse for the Latics as the Rams doubled their advantage nine minutes later when Simon Dawkins drove into the box and smashed home his team's second.
Striker Chris Martin was bundled over in the area on the half-hour mark, before nonchalantly stroking home the resulting penalty from 12 yards to give McClaren's men a near-unassailable lead at the interval.
