Derby County are on course for victory at lowly Blackpool, but only after coming back from conceding an early goal at Bloomfield Road.
The Tangerines took the lead inside 20 seconds when David Goodwillie's shot from the edge of the box was too much for Lee Grant.
However, the Rams were back on terms by the third minute when Johnny Russell's cross reached Chris Martin, who netted his 20th goal of the season.
Steve McLaren's side then edged ahead with barely a quarter of an hour played after Craig Bryson's ball into the box found Patrick Bamford, and the Chelsea loanee rifled home from close range.
Bryson then added to Derby's lead when his effort from six yards found the bottom left corner of Matt Gilks's net as Blackpool were stunned by the onslaught.
Blackpool were desperate for a way back into the game, but Elliot Grandin and Stephen Dobbie saw their efforts blocked in a frustrating first half for the Seasiders.
Their best chance came on 31 minutes when Craig Cathcart put his close-range header wide of the right post.
Otherwise, Derby looked more likely to find a fourth goal as both Bamford and Martin went close to adding to their tallies before the break.
