Derby County have struggled to break down Queens Park Rangers in the first half of their Championship encounter at the iPro Stadium as the scoreline remains 0-0.
Neither side were able to create any chances in the opening 20 minutes, and Derby were forced into a change midway through the first half as Stephen Warnock replaced the injured Craig Forsyth at left-back.
The first attempt on goal came from Johnny Russell, who saw his long-range shot deflected behind for a corner in the 23rd minute.
QPR could only clear the resulting set piece as far as Jacob Butterfield, who swung a 20-yard effort narrowly wide of the upright.
Chris Ramsey's side were restricted to shots from distance on the whole, as Daniel Toszer and Charlie Austin both blasted over the bar from range in quick succession.
Derby had a couple more chances before the break, but Andreas Weimann fired at Rob Green and then Chris Martin glanced a header wide of the far post.
