Derby County and Carlisle United remain level in their League Cup match following a goalless first half at Brunton Park this evening.
The visitors had the first chance of the match when Craig Forsyth charged down the wing before launching the ball towards the Carlisle goal, but Mark Gillespie was ready to make the save.
The keeper was called into action again 10 minutes later when Forsyth crossed the ball in, but Gillespie got to it before any of Forsyth's Derby teammates.
Gillespie continued to come under pressure when Jamie Ward tried to head the ball in low, before squeezing the rebound just wide after a parry from the Carlisle stopper.
Chris Martin had the best chance of the half for the Championship side just before the break, but his half-volley bounced back of the crossbar to leave the sides level at the break.
