Derby County have been held to a goalless draw by non-league Ilkeston at the New Manor Ground.
The visitors dominated early on as Jake Buxton headed wide before Johnny Russell curled a free kick off target from 20 yards.
Further chances fell to Chris Martin and Alban Bunjaku during the first half, while Matt Richards had his effort saved by Kelle Roos at the other end.
However, the best opportunity of the opening 45 minutes fell the way of Jamie Ward when his shot hit the post following a move involving Martin.
Both teams struggled in front of goal when they came out for the second half as Lee Naylor fired over from a free kick for Derby before the experienced defender had another effort blocked with nine minutes left.
