Sheffield United have made an enquiry about Derby County striker David Nugent, according to reports.
United boss Chris Wilder is in need of attacking reinforcements and has earmarked Nugent as a perfect fit for his side, HITC Sport reports.
The 33-year-old frontman joined the Rams from Middlesbrough in January 2017 for a reported fee of £2.5m.
New Derby boss Frank Lampard is assessing the squad he has inherited, and Nugent's future at the club remains uncertain.
The former England international, who has scored 15 goals in 54 league appearances for Derby to date, and has 12 months left to run on his contract at Pride Park.
