Leicester City have agreed a fee with fellow Championship club Doncaster Rovers to sign striker Billy Sharp, according to Sky Sports News.
The 25-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with Fulham, West Ham United, Ipswich Town and Wigan Athletic all linked with making an offer for his services.
However, it now appears that the Foxes have stolen a march on their rivals to sign the former Sheffield United frontman.
Current Leicester striker David Nugent recently admitted that he would welcome Sharp to the King Power Stadium should a deal be reached.
