Eibar recovered from conceding a first-minute goal to draw 1-1 with Cordoba in a bad-tempered La Liga match which saw both sides finish with 10 men.
Florin Andone put the hosts ahead inside 60 seconds in Andalusia, and they held that lead beyond a three-minute second-half spell in which there were two sendings-off.
The chaos subsided for Mikel Arruabarrena to equalise for Eibar and deny Cordoba a victory which would have seen them climb four places to 11th in the table.
Both teams had won their two league matches since returning from the winter break and it appeared as though Cordoba would continue the form that has seen them climb out of the relegation zone when they struck within moments of the whistle.
Federico Cartabia flicked a long ball forward and Andone beat an Eibar defender to the ball to chest it into the box and poke a shot beyond Xabi Irureta from 10 yards for his third goal in four games.
The home side maintained control of the game throughout a first half in which their opponents failed to register a shot on target, but Cordoba gifted them a way back into the game when Edu Campabadal picked up a second yellow card on 56 minutes.
It was a chance that Eibar had seemingly squandered when the numbers were evened up before the hour mark, with Federico Piovaccari shown a straight red card after catching Andone high as he attempted to rescue the ball.
The Romanian striker got back on his feet to test Irureta with a powerful shot from inside the box, but Eibar levelled the scores shortly after as Arruabarrena headed into the top corner on 73 minutes after good work from Saul Berjon on the right.
Cartabia and Jose Angel Crespo came close to winning the game for Cordoba in the latter stages, but Miroslav Dukic's side had to be content with settling for a division-high ninth draw of the season.
