Sevilla found themselves unable to break down Eibar as the La Liga clash at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan this afternoon ended in a goalless draw.
Following a slow start, the visitors had the first chance of the game when Ander Capa fired a long-range shot from a difficult angle, but goalkeeper Beto was able to save.
Eibar continued to probe forward and threaten, with Dani Garcia's effort from outside the box in the 13th minute flying just over.
As the game went on, Sevilla stepped up their efforts and had several chances to open the scoring, most notably through Diogo Figueiras.
The hosts grew more and more frustrated throughout the match as they kept plugging away to no avail against their opponents.
In injury time, Stephane M'Bia missed a gilt-edged chance to seal the win for Unai Emery's charges when his close-range header flew just wide of the Eibar goal.
