Eintracht Frankfurt left the Olympiastadion with a point after being held to a goalless draw by mid-table rivals Hertha Berlin.
Genki Haraguchi's fierce strike from range was well blocked early on, before USA international John Brooks blazed Marvin Plattenhardt's cross over the top of goal.
There were few chances in the first half, but Saloman Kalou could have put his side ahead shortly before the break when he dragged his shot from Valentin Stocker's cross wide of goal after Frankfurt had failed to deal with a corner.
Kalou again appeared the most likely to break the deadlock when he sent an effort towards goal shortly after the restart, but Kevin Trapp in the Frankfurt goal was equal to it.
Bastian Oczipka then thought that he had sent Stefan Aigner through on goal, only for the midfielder to be flagged offside in a rare foray forward from the away side.
The result means that Hertha go in to the final week of the season still facing the possibility of relegation.
