Empoli have been promoted to Serie A after a 2-0 win against Pescara on Friday evening.
Federico Di Francesco scored an own goal on 70 minutes to give Empoli the lead, before Francesco Tavano added the second four minutes later.
The result means they finished second to Serie B winners Palermo to take their place in Italy's top division next season.
Meanwhile, Catania, Bologna and Livorno will be in the second tier next season following their relegation from Serie A.
