England manager Roy Hodgson has revealed that he has been pleased with what he has seen so far from Adam Lallana.
The Southampton midfielder made his first appearance for the Three Lions on Friday night and has also been included in the starting lineup for tomorrow night's clash against Germany at Wembley.
"I think Adam Lallana is one who hasn't had the chance to work with us as much as others so it is important he gets a chance. He is playing in position where we are short at the moment with Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain injured," he told reporters.
"I'm looking forward to seeing him play but I am more than satisfied with how he played the other night."
Lallana rose through the ranks at the St Mary's Stadium, having joined the club back in 2000.
