Adam Lallana has hailed the performances of his Southampton teammate Jay Rodriguez this season.
The striker has scored 12 goals, which in turn has earned him a second call-up to the England squad for this week's friendly match against Denmark.
Discussing Rodriguez's inclusion, Lallana, who is also part of the 30-man selection, believes that his fellow Saint is deserving of his place.
"Jay has been outstanding for us all season. He's a fantastic player to play alongside. He can play in a number of positions, which I'm sure has helped him get his England recognition," he told reporters.
The duo both started England's last match against Chile in November.
