How England could line up against Andorra

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how England could line up for their World Cup 2022 Qualifying clash with Andorra on Sunday.

England manager Gareth Southgate is set to make wholesale changes for Sunday's World Cup 2022 qualifier against Andorra at Wembley.

The Three Lions have no fresh concerns from their 4-0 thrashing of Hungary in midweek, but Jadon Sancho missed that encounter with a knock and remains doubtful for the visit of the world's 156th-ranked nation.

Jordan Pickford is one of the few who could retain their spots at the weekend, while Wolverhampton Wanderers' Conor Coady is also set to feature, potentially in place of John Stones.

Coady could also find himself alongside a new centre-back partner in Tyrone Mings as Harry Maguire is rested, while Kyle Walker and Luke Shaw may drop out for Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kieran Trippier.

Declan Rice will miss the trip to Poland if he is booked here, so Jordan Henderson ought to be given the nod in midfield, and Jude Bellingham - who was praised by Southgate for his reaction to alleged racist chants in midweek - may replace Kalvin Phillips.

Raheem Sterling was also the target of reported abuse in Budapest and picked up a booking for his shirt-stripping celebration - which revealed a tribute message to a late close friend - so Bukayo Saka should be handed a start.

Mason Mount may keep his place in the number 10 role as Jesse Lingard seeks to displace Jack Grealish on the left, while the uncapped Patrick Bamford will aspire to lead the line as Harry Kane is given ample time to recover.

England possible starting lineup: Pickford; Alexander-Arnold, Coady, Mings, Trippier; Henderson, Bellingham; Saka, Mount, Lingard; Bamford body check tags ::
