England captain Steven Gerrard has revealed that he is "delighted" for Frank Lampard to win his 100th cap in Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against Ukraine.
Manager Roy Hodgson revealed on Monday that the Chelsea midfielder would be starting the match in Kiev.
"It's going to be a fantastic occasion for Frank and I'm delighted for him to get 100 caps," Gerrard told reporters.
"Hopefully we will all remember it for the right result. I lost on the night of my 100th cap - hopefully Frank can have the right memories."
Lampard made his debut for England in 1999.
