England midfielder Jack Wilshere has insisted that he is happy with his performance during their recent stalemate in Ukraine.
The Arsenal man played 67 minutes before being replaced by Ashley Young in Kiev, but was seen by many, including former Liverpool duo Dietmar Hamann and Michael Owen, to have put in a below-par display.
However, Wilshere, who is still on the road to full fitness following recent injury troubles, is happy to have been part of the midfield trio alongside centurions Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard.
"It was my biggest international game, my first big one away," Wilshere told reporters. "It was good for me. It was a good experience.
"I had a lot of experience around me with Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard and they helped me.
"It always helps when you have that experience in your team. You can't just give that to anyone. It comes over time. They have been there and done it."
The match marked Wilshere's 10th full international cap.
